The lush sal and bamboo forests, grassy meadows and ravines of Kanha provided inspiration to Rudyard Kipling for his famous novel "Jungle Book". The Kanha National Park in Madhya Pradesh came into being in 1955 and forms the core of the Kanha Tiger Reserve, created in 1974 under Project Tiger. The Park's landmark achievement is the preservation of the rare hardground Swamp Deer (Barasingha), saving it from near extinction. Stringent conservation programs for the overall protection of the Park's fauna and flora, makes Kanha one of the most well maintained National Parks in Asia.

Day 01: Jabalpur – Kanha (180 kms)
On arrival at Jabalpur we will pick you railway station/Airport and transferred to Kanha which is about 180 kms. On your arrival in Kanha you will check in at the hotel. Rest of the day will be at your leisure. Overnight at the hotel.

Day 02: In Kanha
Early morning you will proceed for a jeep safari inside the national park. The central parklands are home to approximately 22 mammal species, including the three-striped palm squirrel, Jackal, wild boar,black buck, chinkara and anteating pangolin. Rarely seen wild dog, Gaur, Hard ground Barasingha are important attractions in Kanha Tourism. Its management is most tourists friendly and appreciated by wildlife lovers. Late afternoon you can depart for one more visit to the national park. Evening will be at your leisure. Overnight at the hotel.

Day 03: Depart Kanha
Morning after leisure breakfast you will be transferred to Jabalpur Railway Station/Airport for further journey.
