Bandavgarh one of the most prominent tiger reserve is located in the Umaria District of Madhya Pradesh. The park derives its name from the most prominent hillock of the area, which is said to be given by Hindu Lord Rama to his brother Lakshmana to keep a watch on Lanka (Ceylon). Hence the name Bandhavgarh (Sanskrit: Brother's Fort).
The park has largest biodiversity with the highest tiger density in India. The 105 kmē of park area open to tourists was reported to have 22 tigers, a density of one tiger for every 4.77 kmē. (Population estimation exercise 2001). There is a saying about the Park that goes: "In any other Park, You are lucky if you see a tiger. In Bandhavgarh, you are unlucky if you don't see (at least) one."

Day 01 : Katni - Bandavgarh (102 kms)
On arrival at Katni Railway station our representative will met you & transfer to the hotel which has been pre booked at Bandavgarh. On arrival hotel check in. Evening at leisure. Overnight at hotel.
Day 02 : Bandavgarh (Jungle Safari)
In the early morning take Jeep Safari which usually starts at 7 am in the morning & last for around 3 hrs. Return to the hotel relax & use of hotel/resort activities. PM: Optional afternoon safari the 2nd shift of Safari. Overnight at hotel.
Day 03 : Bandavgarh - Katni
Post breakfast leisure time till check out. There after you will be drop to Katni Railway station for onward journey.
