Golden Triangle East India Tour - Bhubaneswar - Puri - Konark forms the 'Golden Triangle' of Orissa. These three are the most famous cities of Orissa and tourists flock here to the homage to the religious, cultural and natural wonders that abound in the state. These three destinations also form the famous golden triangle of east India.

Bhubaneswar - The 'Temple City of India', was once the capital of an ancient kingdom. Today this bustling centre of commerce and religion is Orissa's modern capital. It forms an integral link in the Golden Triangle that includes the holy cities of Puri and Konark. It is also the Gateway City of tourists who come here to experience the religious, cultural and natural wonders.

Puri - The holy city of Puri, 60 km from Bhubaneswar, is one of the four holiest points of pilgrimage for Hindus. The reigning deity of the city, Lord Jagannath, whose temple was built way back in the 12th century, is revered by thousands of pilgrims from all over the country. The other important feature of Puri is its beautiful beach, which has offered pleasure to both pilgrims and swimmers for centuries. It is one of the most delightful white beaches in the country.

Konark - The third link of Orissa's Golden Triangle, Konark, 35 km from Puri, has some of the most spectacular examples of religious architecture. The glorious 13th century Konark Temple, dedicated to the sun god (Surya), has been designated as an UNESCO World Heritage Monument. The temple, conceived as a massive chariot, hauling the sun god across the heavens by the might of seven splendidly carved horses, standing aloft on 24 chariot wheels intricately carved and symbolizing the march of time, lies in partial ruin at Konark beach.

Day 01: Arrive Bhubaneswar
Morning arrive Bhubaneswar. Meeting on arrival at Bhubaneswar Airport / Railway Station & Transfer to Hotel. Afternoon visit to the Jain Caves Udayagiri and Khandagiri. Later visit to Raja Rani, Muktshwar and Parsurameshwar Temple, the fine example of the rock carving and sculptures on the temple. Overnight stay in Hotel.

Day 02: Bhubaneswar – Konark (30 kms)– Puri. (35 kms)
Morning proceed to Puri en route visiting Sun Temple at Konark, the great sun Temple was built by King Narasimha of Ganga dynasty in the 13th century. On arrival check-in at your Hotel. Rest of the day free. Overnight stay in Hotel.

Day 03: In Puri.
Morning proceed for a visit to the Famous Jaganath Temple, the Temple was built by King Chodangana Deva in 12th century A.D. to commemorate the shifting of his capital from South to Central Orissa. The Temple is dedicated to Lord Jagannath. Later visit to Raghurajpur Artisans village, famous for its “Patachitra “ painting. Overnight stay in Hotel.

Day 04: In Puri (Excursion tour of Chilka Lake)
Morning after breakfast proceeds for full day excursion tour of Chilka Lake. Take boat available under Orissa Tourism & visit to many Island including the island of Kalijai visit to Kalijai Temple. The Islands are worth visiting as you find numerous birds species. Also you find local fisherman catching the fishes uses traditional method which is being used from the ancient days. By evening return to the Hotel for overnight stay.

Day 05: Puri – Bhubaneswar Departure
On time transfer to Bhubaneswar airport / Railway station for your onward destination.
