Jim Corbett National Park-located on the foothills of Himalayas lies in Uttarakhand is a haven for wild life lover & great weekend getaways. The core area of the Corbett tiger reserve forms the Corbett National Park while the buffer contains reserve forests (496.54 sq.km.) as well as the Sonanadi Wildlife Sanctuary (301.18 sq.km.) The park has sub-Himalayan belt geographical and ecological characteristics. It contains 488 different species of plants and a diverse variety of fauna.

Dense moist deciduous forest mainly consists of sal, haldu, pipal, rohini and mango trees, and these trees cover almost 73 per cent of the park. The 10 per cent of the area consists of grasslands.It houses around 110 tree species, 50 species of mammals, 580 bird species and 25 reptile species. The endangered Bengal tiger of India resides here. The sanctuary was the first to come under Project Tiger initiative.

Day 01: Arrive Corbett
Arrive Corbett on own. This park is named after the famous hunter - naturalist Jim Corbett. Upon arrival check-in at the hotel. Rest of the day at leisure. Overnight at the hotel.

Day 02: In Corbett
Early morning enjoy a Jeep Safari in the National Park. (by own). Good possibilities of sighting tiger, elephants, deer, monkeys and, host of bird species. Morning at leisure at the hotel. Evening at leisure. Optional: You can opt for 2nd round of Safari. Overnight at the hotel

Day 03: Depart Corbett
Morning after breakfast departs for your journey to onward destination.
